1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using MediSecure AI you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

2. Research use

The platform is a research artefact produced for academic purposes (CSC 492 final year project, Caritas University). It is not a regulated medical device and must not be used as the sole basis for any clinical decision. See the Medical Disclaimer.

3. Account responsibilities

  • Keep your credentials secure.
  • Healthcare Provider, Data Manager, Auditor, and System Admin accounts must be activated by an administrator before access.
  • Patient accounts are activated automatically upon registration.
  • Do not upload images containing personally identifiable information.
  • You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account credentials.

4. Prohibited use

  • Reverse-engineering the differential-privacy guarantee.
  • Re-identification attempts on aggregated model updates.
  • Use of the system for any unlawful purpose.
  • Bypassing role-based access controls or audit logging.

5. Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The authors and Caritas University disclaim all liability arising from clinical decisions based on platform outputs. Healthcare providers remain solely responsible for diagnosis and treatment.

6. Changes to these terms

Material changes will be announced via the in-app notification system. Continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
